About Shyambazar

Shyambazar is one of the original 1984 stations of Kolkata Metro — India's first metro. It serves the famous Shyambazar five-point crossing (Panch Math), a key commercial and cultural hub of North Kolkata.

The neighborhood is famous for traditional Bengali cuisine, sweet shops (the legendary Bhim Chandra Nag), and old-Kolkata atmosphere.
