About Shahid Khudiram

Named after Khudiram Bose (1889–1908), one of the youngest Indian revolutionaries executed by the British.

Shahid Khudiram opened on 7 October 2010, when the Blue Line was extended the last two stops to Kavi Subhash, and it was called Briji before being renamed for Khudiram Bose, hanged at eighteen in 1908. It is elevated with two side platforms. The station serves the residential spread either side of Garia Station Road, and is the usual metro stop for people heading on to Baruipur and the southern suburbs by bus or auto.
