Overview
Howrah Bridge (Rabindra Setu) is the iconic cantilever bridge over the Hooghly River, one of the busiest in the world and a symbol of Kolkata. The Green Line (Line 2), which runs under the river, reaches Howrah station — the deepest metro station in India — right beside Howrah railway terminus and a short walk from the bridge and the Mullick Ghat flower market.
