First and last train, by line and day
Metro Railway, Kolkata publishes operating hours for each line, not first and last trains for every intermediate station, so we show the window for each line and type of day: the first train leaves the terminus at the opening time and reaches the other stations a few minutes later. Blue and Green line hours have applied since 27 July 2026 on an experimental basis (Press Information Bureau). On public holidays fewer trains run, with the same first and last times. Blue Line trains run between Dakshineswar and Shahid Khudiram while Kavi Subhash is closed.
