About Karunamoyee
In the central administrative part of Salt Lake township.
Karunamoyee is where a great many journeys change mode: the bus terminus beside it is one of the largest in the eastern part of the metropolitan area, feeding the Salt Lake sectors, New Town and Rajarhat. The station opened on 14 February 2020 with the Green Line's first section and is elevated. The surrounding blocks hold state government offices and the Bidhannagar market, so its peaks are conventional and pronounced.
