About Jyotirindra Nandi

Named after the Bengali writer Jyotirindra Nandi (1912–1982).

Jyotirindra Nandi, named for the Bengali novelist, opened on 15 March 2024 and is elevated with two side platforms. It serves the Mukundapur area — the stretch of the EM Bypass that has filled over the last two decades with private hospitals, and the station is a practical arrival point for several of them. Before the metro, getting here from the south of the city meant a long crawl along the Bypass.
