About Beleghata

Beleghata is the northern terminus of the Orange Line, opened on 22 August 2025.

Beleghata is the current northern end of the Orange Line, opened on 25 August 2025 and previously named Metropolitan. It is elevated with two side platforms. The station serves the Beleghata and Chingrighata neighbourhoods and sits close to the point where the EM Bypass meets the roads into Salt Lake. The line is planned to continue north to meet the airport, which would turn this terminus into a through station.
