Behala Bazar opened to passengers on 2 January 2023 and is elevated. It serves the market and the residential lanes immediately north of Behala Chowrasta — close enough that the two stations share much of their catchment, which is a consequence of the line being threaded along a single congested road rather than across the district. Sakuntala Park and the Behala flying club grounds are nearby.
